1. Validate

Normalize the homeowner address before requesting available property context or storing the hosted request.

2. Present preliminary context

Where property-identity and provider-quality checks pass, show a preliminary provider-characterized roof area and contractor-set ballpark range. This is not a precision, order-grade, or insurance-grade measurement report.

3. Record the submitted-number code entry

Record whether the submitted number returned the SMS code. This does not prove identity, intent, consent, qualification, or future reachability.

4. Enrich

Attach available property, estimate, address-confidence, weather-risk, and request context for contractor review.

5. Quote and propose

Review requests in Lite CRM, build Good/Better/Best quotes and proposals, generate PDFs, send proposals by email, record typed homeowner approval, and manage appointment records.

6. Connect

Keep hosted quote-link requests in GeoQuote Lite CRM. Configured website-widget submissions can map tested fields into an external CRM connector or webhook.

7. Follow up

When the AI Follow-Up plan is selected and enabled, the required consent is recorded, and policy gates allow it, AI Follow-Up and team reminders can support contact attempts and appointment requests. Contact and booking are not guaranteed.

8. Keep the boundary clear

GeoQuote is not full field-service production management, native homeowner payment collection, material ordering, crew scheduling, insurance estimating, or formal e-signature.

Why this matters for contractors using owned channels.

A contractor can get calls from search, Facebook, referrals, trucks, yard signs, and ads, then still lose the homeowner because there is no simple quote-start link. GeoQuote gives every channel the same address-first path, then lets the contractor manage the request and proposal before the first conversation.
